I am Anne. I was born and raised in Hue, the "Cuisine Capital" of Vietnam. I grew up eating delicious food cooked by my grandma, Mum, sister, and all the delicious street food in Hue. I learnt the most from my grandmother who sadly passed away just over 10 years ago.
When my children were born, I dedicated all my time to them. But when they started school, I was left wondering what to do next. I didn't want to return to full- time work as I still wanted to be around for them after school. I have always enjoyed cooking for my friends & family and have been told many times that I should set up a food business, but I never took it seriously until I went home to Vietnam for a holiday to visit my old school friends. So many of them had started successful businesses and they encouraged me just to go for it.
I started tentatively by posting a message on a Facebook group asking if anybody would be interested in buying a Vietnamese takeaway. The response was amazing and I soon found myself preparing more food than I had ever prepared in my life.
Over the last few years I have added to my successful Friday/Saturday night takeaways with cooking classes and a pop-up restaurant at The Northern Pub in St Albans. I had hope to start a Supper Club & Summer Vietnamese Barbecues at home last year, however, the coronavirus stopped that going ahead. Hopefully soon.
I am proud to be the first-person to bring Vietnamese food to St Albans, Hertfordshire and my mission is to introduce as many people as possible to this fresh, healthy, unique cuisine.
Chilli Lemongrass paste is my first ever product I made in November 2020. I have now added a few different types of homemade Kim Chi to the collection.

My Chiili & Lemongrass Paste is a perfect blend of red chillies, fresh lemongrass and roasted garlic for a deliciously zingy taste that is amazingly moreish.
