Sawuchay, pronounced SA – WOO – CHAY, is a Hertfordshire based artisan sauce company. The name was created in memory of our founder’s grandparents, who were from Cyprus, as they pronounced “sauce” as sawuchay. At Sawuchay, we look to provide the best quality products at a reasonable price, using natural ingredients and no artificial colourings, stabilisers or thickeners. We hate food waste and try to use surplus produce wherever possible, such as in our Fruity Brown Sawuchay which only uses surplus apples from Hertfordshire growers.

Chilli Garlic Sauce – 2* Great Taste Award Winner
Sweet, savoury, spicy and deliciously garlicky – Chilli Garlic Sawuchay is plant based and packs a punch. It is thicker than usual hot sauces so that its easier to dip and get stuck in – add some to your fajitas or even turn up your tofu stir fry.
Ingredients: Red chillies, white vinegar, garlic, demerara sugar, salt
Sweet Curry 
Our twist on a great British classic – Sweet Curry Sawuchay is a step up from your local chippy’s curry sauce. Vegan friendly and mouth wateringly moreish, this sauce is great from dipping, marinating or adding to the pot while you cook.
Ingredients: Tomatoes, onions, demerara sugar, white vinegar, curry powder, smoked paprika, garlic, salt, black pepper, mustard powder, spices.

Fruity Brown Sauce
